IGEN GREEN DAY 2022
IGEN GREEN DAY 2022- October 22nd, is observed as the IGEN GREEN DAY with an objective to inspire people on being green and to carry out any one of the Green actions listed or any other of one’s own choice.
The IGEN GREEN DAY 2022 will be an opportunity for academic institutions, industry, NGOs, societies, students,
and the general public to come together to advocate for GREEN and act to support the UN SDGs.
Category A – Academic Institute / Industry / NGOs / Societies / Participation
Interested institute shall nominate one faculty member as Ambassador of #igengreenday and shall register to initiate GREEN ACTION listed below Registration Link
A certificate of achievement will be awarded to the achievers
1) •IGEN GREENDAY AWARD 2022 - The Institute with more than 1000 participants, shall receive IGEN GREENDAY AWARD 2022, a shield with UN SDG Ring and 50 faculty members shall receive #igengreenday Ambassador Certification.
2) •Super Star Performer Certification - The Institute with more than 500 participants, shall receive Super Star Performer Certification with Achiever Medal and 20 faculty members shall receive #igengreenday Ambassador Certification.
3) •Star Performer Certification - The Institute with more than 100 participants, shall receive Star Certification and 4 faculty members shall receive #igengreenday Ambassador Certification
4) •All the participants shall receive participation certificate through “Procedure to Start action on IGEN GREENDAY 2022 ? " 5) •Head of the Institution shall receive special appreciation certificateCategory B – Category B – Individual Participation as #igengreenday Ambassador
Interested individual shall nominate himself or herself as Ambassador of #igengreenday and shall register to initiate GREEN ACTION listed below. Registration Link
A certificate of achievement will be awarded to the achievers
1) •Super Star Performer #igengreenday Ambassador - When the individual’s promotion secures more than 100 participants, He/ She shall receive Super Star Performer #igengreenday Ambassador Certification and IGEN Achiever Medal
2) •Star Performer #igengreenday Ambassador Certification - When the individual’s promotion secures more than 50 participants, He/ She shall receive Star Performer #igengreenday Ambassador Certification
3) •Performer #igengreenday Ambassador Certification - When the individual’s promotion secures more than 25 participants, He/ She shall receive Performer #igengreenday Ambassador Certification
4) •All the participants shall receive participation certificate through “Procedure to Start action on IGEN GREENDAY 2022 ? "Category C – Student / General Public / Individual Participation
Interested individual shall participate without registration by following “Procedure to Start action on IGEN GREENDAY 2022”.
1) Join the IGEN GREEN DAY FaceBook #igengreenday FB Group
2) Select the simple green action from the list or your own green action
3) Complete the action and post the video or photo on 22nd Oct 2022 @ FB group with the write up of action and the follow the hashtag #igengreenday #igeninternationalday #act4sdgs #sdgs #globalgoals
4) Submit the nomination for participation certificate @ #igengreenday Certificate Registration
5)Participants are supposed to promote their action video or photo till 30th Nov 2022
6) The action Video or Photo with maximum views shall receive IGEN Green Campaigner Award 2022
7) All successful participants shall receive participation certificate before 20th Dec 2022
