IGEN WORLD WATER DAY CHALLENGE 2022
In 1992, when the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro took place, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution to celebrate March 22 as World Day for Water every year, starting in 1993.

IGEN Celebrates World Water Day 2022
World water Day is celebrated to increase awareness about the importance of fresh water and the need to conserve it. The day is all about taking action to fight against the global water crisis. The main focus of Day is to support the idea of Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030 and help achieve the target.
In this regard, IGEN with partners viz Sairam Institutions, Thanks Wing Green Lovers Forum Bangladesh and Green Care Society India, launched project under event titled “IGEN Water Challenge 2022” tagged with #act4sdgs . Let’s understand our responsibilities and make Earth a better place to live in. In this regard, IGEN with academic associate partners viz Sairam Institutions and Goel Institute of Technology & Management taken initiation to empower the youth by conducting event titled “IGEN Youth Contest 2021”.

8) Top Achievers will receive IGEN Medal and any implementation action will receive IGEN SDG Action Award 2021
